BECOME A COMEDIAN

So you fancy yourself a comedian eh? Well, let's see what you've got! Send an email to hello@lastlaugh.co.nz and request a spot on the Joke Slingers Open Mic every Wednesday night from 7.30pm!

Spots are 4-6 minutes long for beginners, so let us know what you're comfortable with and we will get you on!

A few things to remember:

1. Even the pros still get nerves, ride it out and you'll be fine

2. DON'T DRINK BEFORE YOU GO ON STAGE!

3. READ NUMBER 2 AGAIN!

4. If you want to take notes on stage, you can do

5. Don't eat the microphone, hold it about 6 inches from your face

6. Don't go over your allocated time! Look for the light!

7. Enjoy yourself!
